My 45-minute session rate is $210 for individual therapy and $245 for couples’ therapy.
I am a Lyra Health approved provider for psychological services. I am currently taking new clients via telehealth for clients who reside in California. Contact Lyra Health to see what benefits are covered for you. I look forward to speaking with you more to see how I can help you meet your treatment goals.
I do not take health insurance, so all payments for therapy are due prior to the start of each session. Depending on your insurance coverage, you may be able to get reimbursement for your payments you already made for therapy with me. I can issue a monthly Superbill, at your request, for possible reimbursement from your insurance company. Contact your insurance company to see if reimbursement is possible.
I recommend asking these questions to your insurance provider to help determine if you have mental health coverage:
· Does my health insurance coverage include mental health benefits? If so, what is the level of coverage?
· Do I have a deductible in order to receive mental health benefits?
· What kind of pre-approval, if any, is needed before mental health services are covered?
The No Surprises Act went into effect January 1, 2022 which requires providers to give a Good Faith Estimate of the costs of care. Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services including psychotherapy services. Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.
For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises
I accept all major credit cards as forms of payment. I accept payment directly on a secure Client Portal.
If you are unable to attend a session, please make sure you cancel at least 24 hours ahead of time. Otherwise, you may be charged for the full rate of the session.
Please contact me for any additional questions you may have. I look forward to hearing from you!
